The old building's elevator was broken, which was a bit of a letdown, so don't be put off by the building's exterior. Inside, the photos are accurate: red walls, old pictures, and cowhide on the floor. The wifi was okay, though working meant using the kitchen/living room. Qult - Old City Pearl is right in the heart of Bucharest, and we walked almost everywhere. For a quick visit, it was good value.

The apartment is roomy, clean, and well looked after, with a handy location. We had the basics for a few days, including hair balm, tea, salt, oil, and the necessary equipment; there was even water and a cupcake in the fridge. The toilet being in the bedroom was a little awkward, and the renovation is clearly not new, but everything was clean and cared for.
