Premier Palace Hotel & Spa

The rooms and spa are nice, and the room was clean, but the service was poor. The room was 27.5 °C, and I couldn't lower it because they hadn't set the air conditioning system. There were used glasses by the juice machine, which you might have thought were clean. The breakfast certainly doesn't make this a five-star hotel.

The restaurant service was really poor: long waits, orders mixed up, and some menu items unavailable. The food definitely wasn't five-star quality. They also charged me for minibar items I hadn't used, and it seemed intentional. On the good side, the hotel was calm and quiet, with large, clean rooms, a reasonable price, and a nice breakfast. I'd call it a decent 3+ star hotel, but definitely not five stars.

The staff were really kind, and they speak enough English that you'll be able to understand them. Hygiene was good, the food was good, and the cotton robe, showers, and slippers were comfortable. The pool is huge, the jacuzzi is nice, and there are five kinds of sauna. Definitely recommend it as the best select spa from Bucharest.

The spa is very nice, but the service is nowhere near what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. Nobody apologized or offered any compensation, even after we explained that the shower wouldn't adjust to temperature changes, we couldn't shower the last morning, and we lost sleep before an important meeting. The manager refused a discount, saying the shower could have been repaired if we'd asked. I later emailed the manager with all the details and never got a reply. There were loud weddings in the restaurant every weekend evening, going on late. We complained to reception, but they didn't offer us another room. One day the room and bed weren't tidied either. A good night's rest is what you pay for at a hotel, and they couldn't provide it.
