I'm only reviewing the pool and restaurant. The water was clean, there were plenty of sunbeds, and the location was pretty nice, though a bit far from the city. Mostly hotel guests and people from the neighborhood used it. The food was okay, but the staff weren't very friendly.

We were happy with our stay. The room was clean and modern, with a shower and internet-ready TV. We stayed in June, though it didn't feel like summer season: the pool bar and roof terrace were closed. The hotel is south of the city, on the edge of an industrial estate, and about a 20-minute walk from the excellent Metro service. Breakfast included toast, fried egg, frankfurter, cereal, yogurt, and cheese, but nothing gluten-free. When we asked, they provided something the next day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though their English wasn't great, still better than my Romanian. There are indoor and outdoor pools. The bar closes really early, so stock up at Lidl. It makes a good base for travelling from.

The pool is clean and fine, with limited seating, and they don't allow overbooking, which is good. The bar, though, is poor. There aren't many staff and they're untrained, so they can't make the cocktails on the menu or a decent espresso. At least they're friendly. I'm giving it two stars because the drinks are amateur at best, yet they charge city-center bar prices.

We came to the poolside restaurant for lunch and waited half an hour before anyone even brought menus. After we ordered ribs, another 30 minutes passed before the waiter said they were unavailable, so we had to start our order again. I looked around and saw other guests complaining too; none of the tables seemed happy with the service. I counted 10 occupied tables. If the place can't manage that many, guests should at least be allowed to bring their own food. The outdoor pool bar was a terrible experience, especially compared with last year, when I'd have rated it 5 stars. This time, 1.
