Cristian was very helpful. He sent directions by instant message before I arrived and suggested places to visit. There’s security at the hotel, which made me feel safe. I stayed for 3-4 nights, and the location in the historic center is very strategic: you can walk to just about everywhere in 5-10 minutes. It’s away from cars, and the area becomes the focus of Bucharest nightlife in the evening. Although it’s a noisy part of town, I didn’t notice much disturbance from my third-floor room. With the window closed, it was well soundproofed and I slept peacefully. The one thing that woke me at 5 in the morning was a homeless person playing the flute on the street with no musical logic, haha. Otherwise, everything was fine. If possible, I’d suggest providing shampoo and body wash bottles instead of sachets, since those run out quickly. :))

The hotel is in a very central spot in the Lipscani neighborhood, making the city’s main sights convenient to reach on foot. I stayed three nights. Check-in is automated: you do it online, then receive a code for the building and room, so there are no keys. I arrived before check-in time, but host Cristian kindly let me drop off my luggage and gave me a few tips for my visit. The room was clean and okay, and breakfast isn’t included. It gets quite noisy at night because of the central location, especially on weekends. The windows are well insulated, and earplugs are provided on the bedside table, so I had no trouble falling asleep. Someone who sleeps lightly might find it difficult, though. Nice hotel and very convenient for exploring on foot.

Cristian, the manager, was helpful with room amenities and suggestions for nearby food and activities. We stayed two nights in the middle of the Old Town, and our room was quite clean with very good sound isolation, which kept out the loud street music at night. It’s a great place to stay in Bucharest. If I return and stay in the Old Town, this would be one of my first choices.

The hotel is super clean and well organized, and manager Cristian was friendly and shared great tips on places to see and where to try traditional food. It’s in an excellent location, close to Bucharest’s best tourist attractions. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bucharest.
