The owners were polite and helpful the whole time, and the place was clean and easy to get around. This is a cool, up-and-coming hostal, and one of the best Hostal stays I’ve had. The location isn’t the best, but it’s not far from the old part of town, and transport is very cheap. For a little place, the quality and price are hard to beat. Give the Map Hostal a try!
The location was okay and the hostel fairly clean, but my room turned out to be in the cellar. It had two tiny cellar windows, no fresh air, and pedestrians on the street could look straight into the room. Two nights there were unpleasant. For a longer stay, I’d probably switch hostels.
A cheap, cozy place to stay in the southern part of Bucarest. The staff are kind and helpful. The rooms aren’t the most comfortable, and the location is a bit run-down.
Comfy rooms at a cheap price, in a good location near the center of Bucharest.
I enjoyed it, it was really nice! The house was lovely, and so was the owner.
