The staff were pleasant, and the rooms are large. It’s close to Parliament, with the Old Town and metro about a 20 minute walk away. There’s no elevator, so I’d only suggest it for a short stay. You also don’t get a room safe or a front door key, so you have to ring the bell to be let in. It’s staffed 24 hours, but sometimes we waited 5-10 minutes for someone to open the door.

The rooms are really large, with a bathroom and a separate sort of living area with a sofa and TV. But there was a dirty towel and bathroom cup, and quite a lot of dust. The staff were extremely unfriendly. Parking isn’t free on site, though you can park for free on the street. Breakfast was OK, but you couldn’t choose the food, only the coffee and juice.

There’s a 24 hour supermarket across the street, and the hotel is close to the Parlament and about a 15 minute walk from the old town. Breakfast was good, the staff were nice, and our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. I’d read good reviews beforehand, and they turned out to be right. Great surprise, cheap and good. I highly recommend it.

The building is fabulous and the location is pretty good. It has a classical, vintage feel, though the place could use more attention to detail. There were loose cables around, and the bathroom was quite mouldy and worn.

The owner was really cool, and the rooms were clean. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown and Ceaucescu parliament. Thank you.
