The scenery was lovely, and the four orange tabby cats were adorable. We had lunch with my family, both Romanian and American, and the almond-crusted trout was delicious. The waiter deboned it right at the table like a pro. We also loved the apple strudel with cream. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!

The pool was a real highlight, and the rooms were very cool. Staff were excellent. I did find the restaurant waitress a bit rude, though that may just be my opinion. The room fridge was only for drinks you could buy at extra cost, so we had nowhere to keep things that needed refrigeration. At 450 lei/90€, it felt a little overpriced to me. Somewhere around 350-375 lei/70-75€ would seem closer to fair. Still, it was a nice stay.

We only came for dinner after seeing the good reviews, and the meal was even better than we expected. The soups were really good, and the mushroom stew was fantastic. Service was welcoming and good, with reasonable prices for that quality. We’re thinking about booking a stay as well. You’ll probably need a car to get here, which is the one drawback.

We came to eat at the restaurant and found there weren’t any soups that day, which is why I’m giving it four stars. The food was otherwise very good and high quality, and the desserts were amazing, although I’ve had better ones. It’s a very luxurious restaurant and I’d recommend it. A great experience overall.

We arrived after the kitchen’s 9 pm last order, but they still served us kindly, and the food was delicious. The place is quiet and nicely located, the room was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Everything about our holiday stay was amazing. Totally recommend ❤️
