My Booking.com reservation was cancelled without any notice. I can only guess it was because they wanted to raise the rate for the New Year period, though I was already paying 300€ a night for four people, which is too much for this kind of accommodation in Romania. If you’re planning a trip around a holiday or a specific event, be prepared for your plans to get wrecked by greed.

The apartment was exceptionally equipped, very clean and had a fabulous view. The hosts were great, and there were some very good sweets too. Thanks for the baby’s crib and for everything. We’d be very happy to come back.

You’re close to the Caraiman monastery and a center for anyone wanting to get moving, and the view of the Caraiman cross is superb. I recommend it and will definitely return.
