Vila Speranta

The family welcomed us with such warmth, understood what we needed, and made us feel at home. They had our room ready when we arrived before the 2 PM check-in, with good vibes and a smile. I wasn’t looking for four-star hotel service, and this felt much more personal. Everything was spotless, five stars out of five, and the value for money was amazing. The food was incredible: Plescoi sausages with mamaliga / polenta, delicious wine, and that negresa cake with chocolate topping, which is a fasting cake! We stayed just one night, 1-2May 2024, and I’d gladly come back. The family hosted us from the bottom of their hearts. The muddy vulcanoes are about 11km (+/-) away. If you need information about bus or car availability, write to them. They answer and offer solutions. So many thanks! ❤️

At Vila Speranta, kids of any age can find something fun to do, even if it’s just hanging out with the resident dogs. You can relax, eat great homemade food, and try local specialties like Plescoi sausages and Babic, both spicy meat products. The owners know the area inside out, so it’s worth asking them for advice before making plans. There’s a lot to see nearby, and you can make the most of your time with their help. Buzau is about 30 minutes away and extremely busy, with parking there an adventure, much like Bucharest. I love this place, so I’m biased, but you should come see for yourself. It’s lovely.

Babe and Hunny, the two most adorable dogs on the planet, make the atmosphere feel like heaven. The owners are always helpful and kind, and the food is the best. Vila Speranța has clean, cozy rooms that mix modern and traditional touches. The surroundings are wonderful, with cycling and walks in the hills for families. It’s perfect for a few days away, and I’d stay there 365 days a year if I could. Best place in Romania, love it!

We spent 4days exploring the surroundings and enjoying our stay at Vila Speranta. This family business is clean, well organized, and welcoming, and the food is excellent. They use fresh local products, including the well-known CÂRNAȚI DE PLESCOI specialty.
