We arrived around 10pm for a one-night stop in July 2025, just needing beds, a shower, and breakfast before continuing our trip. For our family of four, we were offered one apartment for 680 LEI. The tap water had a strong bad-egg smell as soon as we used the bathroom. Running it for a few minutes made no difference, and it tasted so acrid that the children wouldn't brush their teeth. Breakfast ran from 8 to 11. When we came down at 9am, there were only two rubbery fried eggs left and most of the other trays were empty. Food was replenished from time to time, but very slowly, and it fell short of what we'd experienced during the previous two weeks traveling around Romania. At checkout, the staff member asked for 780 LEI. When we questioned the amount, she pointed to a sheet showing that this was the seasonal rate. Nobody acknowledged that we had been quoted a different price, and the staff member was very rude, even though we were trying to communicate in two languages. Dreadful service and foul-smelling water. We were very disappointed and wouldn't stay here again.

The food was delicious and came in generous portions. A really clean place to relax, with good staff. I recommend it 😋

The 25 lei entry fee is pretty reasonable compared with other places, and you can stay as long as you like. There's a bar selling drinks and even food, though we didn't dare try the food. The salty-water pool was nice and quiet on weekdays, but of course I'd avoid weekends.

We took our time over lunch here, and the wait for the food was a little long. Still, it was absolutely worth it: some of the best dishes I've ever had, and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. If you're in the area, make time to stop for lunch or dinner.
