Vatra Boiereasca

The noise was the biggest problem on this visit. We were in Room 6 on the second floor, about 20 meters from the event hall, and two loud events took place directly across from our room during our four-day stay. Music and noise went on from 8 PM until 3 or 4 AM, so getting any rest was impossible. We paid 500 RON for the apartment expecting somewhere peaceful, not a party venue next door. Other things had gone downhill too. The bathroom had a strong smell on our first visit, but now it was worse than ever. Cleaning inside and outside the room was poor. Since the two staff members from Nepal left, cleanliness has noticeably declined. Breakfast for kids was extremely limited, with nothing besides milk, which isn't suitable for children. We asked for a fresh chicken breast for the kids at dinner and instead got a chicken thigh with potatoes that clearly seemed to be leftovers from the night before. This was our third stay at Vatra Boierească, and such a disappointment after I used to love the place. I can't recommend it now. It's sad to see the quality fall, especially since it used to be one of my favorite places. On my earlier visits, I thought this was by far the best accommodation I'd ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean, up on the hills beside the forest, with amazing views and delicious food. The staff were professional and ready to help with anything. I was sure I'd come back.

The beds are quite soft. There are also three small houses in the local style, each with room for six people. They look lovely, furnished with old furniture and carpets.

The service was really good, and the rooms in the big mansion were very comfortable. I spent a weekend at Vatra Boierească with family and friends and had a wonderful experience. I'll come back when I'm next in the area.

The scenery is stunning, and everything was super clean. We first stopped by this lodge complex looking for somewhere to eat, and chose it based on the reviews. They mainly serve dishes to people staying there, but were still eager to help us. Very quickly they brought out the delicious, generous meal of the day, freshly prepared right in front of us, and even dessert came super fast. The taste was superb, made with simple ingredients. The staff were warm and friendly too. You should check out the place and book a room. Congratulations, guys, and our best regards!
