The breakfast was really good, and the lodge is clean and well kept. We found the women who run it very kind and discreet. The rooms have a superb view and the setting is ideal for a quiet, laid-back mountain stay. It all makes for a proper chance to recharge in the mountains. If you're after loud music, noisy conversations and the usual Romanian mountain grilling, mici, ceafa and alcohol, there are plenty of other places in Moieciu. Carpatica Lodge feels more like a mountain retreat. We hope to return soon.

The freshly made breakfast was wonderful, and our host was warm and welcoming, doing everything she could to make the stay pleasant. Carpatica lodge is in a beautiful spot in the Carpathian Mountains, just right for relaxing in nature. We’d love to come back.

We were really impressed by the host. She was so friendly and paid close attention to what we needed. The place was spotless and had a cozy, homey feel. Breakfast was fresh, with traditional cheeses, omelette and a few kinds of meat. The location is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

The two ladies looking after the place were lovely, and the hosts were easy to talk to. It’s clean, warm and welcoming, with a very nice breakfast. Great spot in Moeciul de Sus. We’ll definitely be back!

We felt at home here, and every second was worth it. The host’s care, the green all around and the soothing sounds of nature gave Carpatica Lodge such a good feeling from the moment we arrived. It’s spotless, and breakfast is delicious and keeps you full for hours.
