We were really grateful that the pet-friendly policy is genuine, and the rooms, kitchen, and common room were spotless. What made it hard for us was the temperature: it was 19 degrees Celsius throughout, and we felt cold in every room. If that temperature works for you, you’ll surely love the place, but we left early because of it. I understand not switching on the central heating just for two cold guests, though having a few electric heaters available would have made a big difference to our stay. We also would have liked a good internet connection in the rooms. The common room did have one.

The yard has lots of grass, plus a barbecue area, and the view is lovely. It’s quiet, pet-friendly, and the rooms are clean. The two owner ladies are awesome! We loved it and will definitely come back.

Our doggies were happy there, and we got to hike as well as relax in the garden. Beautiful place and a great host. I highly recommend it!
