The restaurant was cozy, decorated in a wood theme, and the food was good. Desserts were especially good. The pools are old but okay. Our apartment itself was nice, but there was no coffee, and it was on the top floor with no elevator, about 5 to 6 floors up from the main entrance. The reception staff and server didn't speak any English, so don't go if you don't speak Romanian. We went with our two kids for New Year's. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children; it seemed more geared toward older couples.

We didn't stay overnight, just came for dinner as a group of three. I had the Sarmale with varza calite and mamaliga, classic Romanian food and very well prepared. The Ciolan cu fasole was a large smoked pork ham, tender and served with plenty of saucy white beans. Our daughter had a freshly made chicken schnitzel with potato chips. The mamaliga was so good it ended up being eaten with the chicken too. Everything was delicious, and we'd recommend the place to anyone visiting or passing through this beautiful area.

Parking can be a bit awkward if the lot in front is full, since you have to cross the road, and visibility from the left is limited by the bend. Still, the effort is worth it. The food is very tasty, the place is clean and nicely decorated, and the staff are friendly. Enjoy!

We stopped in just to eat, and it was a horrible experience. The waiter got 3 of our 4 dishes wrong, the salad vegetables weren't fresh, and the service was disgusting. It felt like a badly organized canteen, not a restaurant.

We come here for traditional Romanian food, and it's always tasty with excellent service. The dining room is lovely, all hand-carved from wood, right down to the light switches. I also like how the chairs have a similar design but are each different. You can see the effort that went into the decor. I enjoy coming here and I'm sure I'll be back.
