Albatros

The sand at the beach is very fine and white, almost dust-like. I prefer sea water to river water, but that’s just personal preference. Beach seats cost a bit much at 20 lei each. The hotel was clean, with a cool wooden theme, and the rooms were okay. Food was good, including the self-serve breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheese, jelly, butter, coffee, and other things.

I came back several nights in a row, and each time the restaurant staff got my food to me within minutes. The food was good too, despite what I’d read in earlier reviews. The staff were welcoming, and the quiet location is worth the drive from Calarasi. I recommend it.

It’s a peaceful place to stop and rest, and in the morning you can hear birds singing like you’re in a jungle. The rooms are large, the toilets are clean, and the food is average. :)

For the low price, I got a clean apartment room a short distance from the beach. The hotel restaurant served very good food, and the staff and service were impeccable.
