Breakfast was plentiful and enough to set us up for the day, and we also enjoyed lunch. The dishes were tasty, served professionally, and a little above average in price. The sunny outdoor terrace was a nice place for coffee. The spa and pool were pleasant and surprisingly uncrowded over the weekend, though the saunas and salina only open in the evening then, so keep that in mind. Our room was spacious enough for two, with a large bed and a good-sized balcony furnished with chairs and a table. We stayed for a weekend at the end of August. The room faced the street, so traffic was audible. The pillows were very soft and not comfortable for us. A firmer second pair would be useful. The air conditioning was set automatically to 19 degrees when we left the room, which might feel cold depending on your preference. The push-open wardrobe doors left marks on the mirror covering their full surface whenever we opened them.

The outdoor terrace was beautifully kept, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the spa and the food too. Hotel Carolin gave us a great weekend, and we’ll definitely come back.

We had a great time. The pools and showers were lovely, and the food was pretty good without being too expensive. The art deco look is beautiful and attended to in every detail. Staff were very friendly and flexible when we needed a schedule outside the usual hours. Our one small gripe was the waiters cleaning tables with little noisy vacuum cleaners; we’d have preferred another method.

The room was top quality, with tasteful design in every corner, and the service was incredible. We especially enjoyed the three saunas and four hot pools, which were so relaxing. Breakfast was an exquisite buffet. Definitely recommended.

The food was tasty, reception staff were nice, and the rooms are roomy enough. Everything looks new and great, and the indoor spa has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and salina, plus two small outdoor thermal pools. It feels like a real four-star hotel. My one issue was that the main pool water could be warmer.
