They let me bring my dog after I explained he was clean and well trained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and looked recently renovated; the hotel itself was very clean too. It had a TV, refrigerator, wall sockets, and soundproof windows. The bathroom had a hair dryer, and there was heating and air conditioning. A very good place to rest. There’s a restaurant as well, though I left in the morning and didn’t try the food.

The attic rooms are tiny, with very low ceilings. The bed linens were old and shabby, the heating controls on the radiator didn’t work, and the bathrooms were very dirty and smelled bad.

Woke up this morning to find the radiator on, even though it was -16°C outside. A surprise. ❄️

It was clean, which was a plus, but the room was very warm and the radiator wouldn’t turn down. The toilet seat was loose too. At first the hotel seemed closed and we were turned away, then a neighboring hotel told us to come back, and it turned out we could stay overnight after all. Maybe this kind of place suits some people, but I’d have happily paid a little more for better finishing. We were there out of season, so this might not reflect what it’s usually like.
