The peaceful setting was a big plus, with no traffic, a gazebo, children’s playground and green space to sit in the evening. Wi-Fi worked throughout the guesthouse. Parking was the one hassle: the lot is small and gets crowded on weekends, though staff helped me find a safe spot. I stayed three nights at Verde Colț de Munte Guesthouse, and it exceeded what I expected. My room was spacious, clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed, freshly washed smelling linen, a modern bathroom, steady hot water, toiletries, a small fridge and a balcony facing the forest. Staff were kind and prompt. Reception gave me useful information about hiking trails and local places to visit, and restaurant service was quick and attentive. Breakfast was included, with local cheeses, fresh eggs, vegetables and homemade pies among the choices. The coffee was good and hot. I also had dinner, including beef stew and grilled trout, both cooked excellently. Good food, peace and fair service, with a very good quality-price ratio. I recommend it.
