The landscape around Casa Moșului was absolutely stunning, and we found the accommodation clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, too. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the service was excellent. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy the area, highly recommended.

Our room was comfortable, and the living room had loads of space. There was a fridge stocked with water, sodas and very good wine. The garden was tidy, with two cute ducks, and the peaceful setting made us happy to stay at Casa Mosului. It was easy to find, and our host was great. He suggested local restaurants and treated us to coffee and a really tasty breakfast in the morning. A very positive stay, we hope we can come back someday.

We’ve made three visits over 15 years, and every one has been wonderful. The hosts are very kind, now the second generation, since our first stay with their parents over a decade ago. They can suggest local hikes and other hidden gems. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious, made with authentic local ingredients and recipes. There’s a cute garden to relax in, friendly locals, and each evening you can watch the water buffalo go by. Many thanks again, highly recommend.

This family gives you such a warm welcome at their beautiful place, right where the Transfagarasan road begins. We had great traditional food for dinner and breakfast. They’re very friendly and happy to share tips for trips. Recommended!
