We rented a triple room. It was clean and spacious, with a nice view and location. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the zacusca was very good. The restaurant food was good, prices were fair, and service was fast enough. I rated the room four stars because the toilet was only 2cm from the sink, leaving too little space to sit, especially for 'chubby' people.

Right by the river and surrounded by nature, this is a great place with a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the people are attentive to details, always happy to serve and meet their guests. I stop here whenever I'm in Durau, at least for a bite. Highly recommended.

From the outdoor terrace, there's a beautiful view of a little river and the trees. The location is nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu has a decent range of Romanian-focused food and drinks. A lot of the dishes are rich or fried, so the food can feel heavy. If you look carefully, there are some options that work better for a reduced-fat diet. I liked that the menu lists macronutrients for each dish, which helps when you have specific dietary needs. You can also ask for simple foods or request that certain ingredients be left out. Expect to spend around €20 per person for a main, one drink, and a starter or dessert.

We came for a meal, so I can't comment on the pension. The food was high quality, there were varied choices for both drinks and food, and the waiters were delightful. Service was superb and the food came out incredibly quickly. We paid barely 10€ per person on average, drinks included, without ordering dessert. Highly recommended.
