The dorm was small and the beds creaked, though they were comfortable enough. There's a cozy shared space with a kitchen and an outdoor terrace. I had a really good two nights at Crisandy, thanks in large part to the friendly, polite, respectful, curious, and helpful host. It's a short walk to the center, though the place itself isn't right in it. A friendly, quiet spot to get some rest.

It's quiet and peaceful, more of a guesthouse than a backpackers hostel, and the place is clean. The bedrooms have their own toilets. I liked staying here and would recommend it for a Transylvania trip. In Brasov, the manager is local and, I think, lives there, so it's easy to ask how to get around. The hostel is within walking distance of most of the several bus stations. There aren't any maps yet, though I think she may be getting some soon. I also recommend downgrading Triposo for that reason. Give yourself at least four days to visit the small nearby cities.

The bathrooms are nice and the staff are pleasant, but the beds weren't very comfortable and there's no air conditioning. Finding the hostel is tricky because there's no sign on the building. Look for the street number.
