The location is gorgeous, with an amazing view, and the host was gracious. We booked at short notice, but they got everything ready for us quickly. The hosts were kind and hospitable, apologizing more than once about the cold while keeping the fire going. They even continued serving us after one of them had been in a bus accident. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

The location and food were okay, but the rooms were awfully dirty. We had only cold water, and the old, flimsy door lock looked like it could probably be opened with a twig. As we were leaving, someone apparently in charge of service stopped us. She was extremely rude and seemed to be pressuring me to change my review. I was appalled by her selfish manner.

The place was clean, but the decor was ultra kitsch. The walls had odd pictures, probably from Sunday fairs, and everything seemed thrown together without taste: useful and unnecessary things in clashing combinations, big plastic yellow covers announcing Medina pension, and a small balcony where a large plastic chair took up half the space. The restaurant is basically fast food. The soups were okay, and breakfast was average. For the price, it definitely doesn't measure up.

There were spiders in the room, and the bathroom wasn't clean. It was hard to air out the room because it had just one small window.

I've stayed here for the 7th or 8th time now, and everything is still excellent. Really nice accommodation, food and service!
