Hotel Alexis

A great hotel, clean room, and all the amenities we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's close enough to the city center to walk. Highly recommended, and thank you!

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and really helpful staff. The hotel has private parking and is less than a 10-minute walk from the city center and restaurants. I'd suggest booking directly through the hotel's website to get a better price.

It's close to the city center, but parking is awful. You enter through a narrow little gate after a complicated check-in, and there's barely any space. If there's no spot free, they park behind you without leaving contact details. Getting out is difficult too. The room itself was fairly well equipped. We could choose between two: one involved lots of stairs and smelled like a sewer, while the other faced the main road and was noisy. The air conditioner outside our window added to the noise, so it was hard to relax. The mattress and pillows were wonderful, which is why I'm giving two stars. Breakfast was generous and had variety, but it was the same every day. Tea was brewed ahead and already seasoned, and you were given one of the coffees. A staff member who cooked seemed to watch us through breakfast and took offense at comments. When a lamp flickered in the dark, turning on the light for a bit more visibility got an openly displeased reaction. Reception staff always smiled, even grinned, but couldn't offer useful help. They couldn't recommend a restaurant, or sent us to a terrible one. We asked for national cuisine, and they didn't know what that meant, so sent us to a pasta place. The nearby city center is the main plus.

Everything was new and spotless, with comfortable, roomy rooms and all the basics covered. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the city center is an easy walk away. Breakfast was decent and worth paying for. For a three-star price, it felt like four-star quality. Great service, and I'd highly recommend it.
