Apartments 7-17 Zorilor

We had booked and paid for our room two months ahead, but at check-in they cancelled the reservation in front of us and wouldn’t let us in. They said the price we’d originally paid was too low and demanded triple that amount on the spot. We hadn’t received a pro forma invoice or any notice about an extra payment. When we refused, we had to look for somewhere else to stay instead of attending the conference we’d booked months in advance. I’ve travelled frequently and this has never happened to me anywhere else in the world. I got the impression we may not have been the only guests in this situation. This felt like a money-making operation with no professional hospitality. I wouldn’t trust it and would avoid it.
