It’s a guest house, and doesn’t meet hotel standards. The location is good, but the quality feels like a two star place, especially with sewage smells coming from every room. Breakfast was the same poor quality each day.

I came looking for somewhere to watch a tennis match, and chose this place because the restaurant had a TV. The food was tasty and the staff were really friendly. The restaurant is clean and smells nice, though it’s a little awkward to find since it’s somewhat underground. I can’t comment on the rooms.

We stopped at the restaurant for lunch before the Andre Rieu concert at BT Arena on 02.03.2023. The food was awful. Our main dishes arrived cold because they seemed to have been frozen and microwaved, rather than cooked there. With prices this high, that’s unacceptable, especially for a four star hotel and restaurant. Not recommended, avoid it.

We arrived at the hostel entrance before 11 pm, after booking that day through Booking.com because it said check-in was available until midnight. We’d been travelling by train all day and expected to arrive around 10:30 pm. Nobody was there. When we called the number provided, the man said he didn’t care about the time and didn’t trust Booking. He kept asking when we’d check out, though we didn’t yet know how long we’d sleep, and for our credit card details. He didn’t seem willing to help or concerned that we were stranded outside at 11 pm after booking a room. Thankfully, a very kind neighbour hostel that was supposedly closed let us stay overnight. This place shouldn’t be allowed to host travellers. It should be removed from booking platforms since it doesn’t follow or agree with any part of their general policy, and can leave people in this awful situation.
