The receptionist was really nice and gave us useful tips on places to eat and things to find nearby. A bathroom comes with the room, and it’s fairly close to the centre. They usually have breakfast available at any time, though it’s made by a nearby restaurant and costs quite a lot, 30 RON. There are only three parking spaces. The walls and doors do little to block outside noise, so you can hear pretty much everything. The mattresses aren’t comfortable, putting it politely, and the furniture is old. The terrace is shared with the neighbour. The bathroom is sparsely equipped, with old fittings and a worn look throughout. The towels seemed clean, but could use replacing, and there’s no shower curtain.

A disaster. There was nothing at the address, and after I called with no answer, they messaged to say the booking had been made by mistake. Luckily, we found somewhere else to sleep. Who takes responsibility for this?

I’ve stayed here for over a month, and everything was wonderful, especially the staff. This is easily my favorite place in Cluj. I’ve been coming back for most of the past decade.

We were put in a separate apartment building. The room there was nowhere near what you’d expect from a place rated three stars.

The rooms have plenty of space, and the staff are welcoming and quick to respond. Some spots could use a better clean, though.
