Apartament Confort Calea Turzii

The room was modern-looking and clean. This was our second time staying here for a night, and we were completely happy with the place.

The small parking area was the main drawback for me. Otherwise, it was a really nice stay. The hotel is about a 12-15 minute walk from the city center and 25-27 minutes from the festival, so we saved what we would have spent on Uber. We were there for Untold, and while music could be heard at night, it was so loud throughout the festival that this wasn't the hotel's fault. Inside, the rooms were quiet apart from that, especially in the mornings, and the temperature was very pleasant. Our room was spacious, with a little living area, and had everything we needed. It was very clean, too. The cleaning lady was polite and checked whether we needed fresh towels or the room made up. Staff were friendly, and they even kept breakfast available longer for festival guests, which was thoughtful. There were quite a few breakfast choices, and the coffee, food, and dessert were all good.

I picked this hotel because it was close to the event I was attending, and I'm glad I did. The room was large, though I think we may have been upgraded after a reservation mix-up. Breakfast costs extra, but you can pay for it on site. Reception is open 24/7, and coffee and drinks are available from the fridge. It's also around 15 minutes from the city center. There are hotel parking spaces as well as public parking.

For a short trip, the price is affordable and the service and food are good. Parking is limited, with only a few spaces around the hotel. The building layout is odd, so watch for unexpected changes in floor level in the hallway and in the room's bathroom.
