Contessa Central Studio

It's clean, though I noticed a slight moldy smell. At first the place looks nice, set in an old building with an inner courtyard, but parking was a problem: there wasn't any, and the public lot is far away, if you can find a space. Inside, it's a tall room split over two levels, with a sort of living area downstairs, an okay bathroom, and an open kitchen. Getting to the bedroom takes some climbing. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep, and once upstairs anyone taller than about 1.65-1.70 m has to bend over. Because of that, I slept on the sofa downstairs.

I can't recommend this place. It smelled of mold, and the oak parquet was black. It was very cold when I arrived. They said they only take cash, with the money left on the kitchen table, which seemed like tax evasion.

The location is right in the center, it's clean, the host is welcoming, and you can park in the inner courtyard. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely return.
