Guest House Andrei

We were so frightened by the other guests that we had to sleep somewhere else that same night. They were loud, drunk and violent, and no one seemed to care. It was late, and after driving for hours we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. When my husband parked on the property, we needed two minutes to check a few things. The host came to our car with an attitude and a lot of sarcasm, complaining that we weren't moving faster because she had to walk a few steps and didn't have the time or health for it. The place was also very noisy and dirty, and the bathroom smelled of poop as soon as we arrived. There's no sign on the house or by the gate to show where to stop, especially confusing if you're driving. We're not fussy people and understood it was cheap, but it was still so bad it wasn't worth even that little money. I honestly don't understand the good reviews. On booking it seemed like the same people had posted multiple reviews, so it felt like a scam. Nature, empathy, quiet and clean rooms shouldn't cost extra, they should be a given.

The hosts were very pleasant, and the place was very clean. The kitchen was pretty good, though cooking smells drifted into the rooms. There isn't a bathroom in the room, street noise was a problem, and without A/C it got hot. The TV service was poor, and it was hard to watch anything.

Unbelievable, we arrived at 2:00am after booking and he told us there was no room for us. My son and I had to stay at the bus station until 6:00. Please don't book here, it's a scam. Thanks.

The rooms are nice and have AC, though they're a little small. There's also a shared kitchen, and the place is very close to the main train station.
