We only stayed one night at Casa Zanelor, but the welcoming staff and the spa’s impressive cleanliness made it memorable. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had a comfy bed; the bathroom jacuzzi was a nice extra. We’ll come back and stay longer next time.

For a hotel advertising four stars, it felt closer to three. The atmosphere was gloomy, and the kitschy doll Batman greeting guests as a porter didn’t help. The place is tucked away behind a sort of aqua park. One staff member was genuinely professional and kind, but the others acted as if we were a nuisance. The furniture needs refurbishing, and so does the pool table.

The food was delicious, and the staff were really pleasant and friendly.

The food was delicious, and the staff were great. It’s a good base for exploring the area. The rooms need a full technical check, though: some doors won’t close, and a few electrical items, like sockets and extension leads, are dodgy. Less of that would make things better. 🙂

We only used the spa. It’s a really nice place, with a hot saltwater pool, two saunas, and other facilities.
