Pensiunea Caramell

We paid in advance for five days, but after just three days the owner asked us to leave and didn't refund the last two. He was rude throughout and gave me an attitude. His wife and he were insulting us behind our backs for being American, speaking Hungarian, though they didn't know we speak Hungarian and Romanian too. The room was disgusting: dirt-stained walls, exposed wood for the ceiling, no AC, dirt on the floors and carpet, and a rotting meat smell. We also caught the cleaning lady throwing away several items from our room. I had to tell the front desk to make her retrieve our things from the garbage. If I could give fewer stars, I would. These people are crooks and should be ashamed. Very unprofessional, rude, and dirty. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere better. I'll post pictures of the disgusting rooms. Don't be fooled by the photos online, the rooms are nothing like them.

The price and quality were OK, and the staff were friendly. It's a 5-6 minute drive from downtown.

Just checked in. The room is really big and comfortable.

Quiet and elegant place, with a wonderful owner and kind people there.
