Pensiunea Junior

The rooms are comfortable and the prices are good, so it felt like great value. The heaters and hot water both worked perfectly.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the hotel is close to the city centre. But the place needs serious updates: the mattresses are old and worn, the toilet flush buttons are broken, and there’s an odd smell throughout. Breakfast was dubious, and the coffee machine was old and barely working.

I asked if I could have breakfast earlier since I had a train to catch the next morning, and that was no problem. The breakfast itself was lovely, the rooms were nice, and I slept well in the bed. It was a little warm for me, though that was okay. The hotel is beside the train station, but that’s clear when you book. I don’t get the negative reviews. It’s a nice hotel with good service, and you get what you pay for. I’d recommend it if you want a good, cheap stay with nice breakfast!

We stayed for two weeks and had two apartments. One faced the street, and it got very noisy whenever trams and trains went by. Breakfast was a 5/10, not very good, but acceptable as a quick snack. The underground parking is a great feature, though the ramp is very steep.
