The host Adrian was very friendly and gave us expert advice on what to see and do in Cluj. The property is gorgeous and in a quiet part of the city, with a great bus connection to the airport and a quick walk into the city center. A very pleasant stay. I highly recommend Hotel Escala for business or pleasure!

Great breakfast and a fantastic host, with a location that makes this the best accommodation I've had in Cluj.

We'd choose this place first if we come back to Cluj. The city center and train station are both an easy walk away, and our hosts were so helpful that they even forgave an accident in the room. We also loved the spacious, comfortable bedroom, the elegant decor, and the fresh fruit and warm smiles when we arrived.

At Escala, we were made to feel like family during our brief, unplanned stop in Cluj. It's an easy walk to restaurants and music, yet far enough away to stay quiet when it's time to sleep. Cluj itself is beautiful, warm, and wonderfully hospitable. I'd absolutely recommend staying here :)
