The price was decent, and I felt safe there as a woman traveling alone. The big windows were lovely, and the staff were cooperative. It was close to the railway, exactly what I needed.

We booked eight rooms for three nights on June 23 for a family vacation. The pictures and reviews on different sites looked good, but the reality was horrific. Carpets were stained, the mattresses had liquid marks that smelled like pee, and the furniture was broken. Some windows had blocks of cement right outside, making the place feel like a prison. There was mould and a bad smell throughout the corridors. On top of that, a train passed just five meters from the rooms every few hours during the night. We asked the manager for a refund because the place wasn't hospitable. He agreed to refund us for two nights, since it was already late and he couldn't rebook the rooms. We agreed and left for a place that could accommodate human beings, but the money was never returned. Check my profile, I never write bad reviews, but this was so abnormal I couldn't resist.

It was peaceful and quiet, and not crowded. The staff were nice and ready to help. Good coffee, decent food, and a nice variety of cooked dishes and salads. Prices were average.

During Untold festival, we paid triple the price charged in other periods. The rooms were quite awful: the bed had a metal frame that made strange noises whenever we moved, and the old furniture was almost falling apart. Untold was a moderate distance away, about 10-12 lei by Uber at the normal rate.
