Perfect Stay

We felt right at home, thanks to the professional and attentive management. The flat is spacious, warm (a massive plus), and has high ceilings and all the equipment we needed. The mattress was gooood, much appreciated on a longer stay. Shops and restaurants are close, and you can walk to pretty much everything.

We booked an apartment with Perfect Stay in May 2021, but ended up canceling because of its poor condition. It’s in a central area, inside an old, neglected building. Despite the supposed renovation, the room was in bad shape, with old hardwood floors and towels, plus a strong mold and cigarette smoke smell. The host said previous guests had smoked there, but the smell was unbearable. When we asked for a full refund, the owner, Cristina Rosu, brushed us off and said we had to contact Booking. We’ve travelled all over the world, and this was by far our worst booking experience, with a really rude attitude. I don’t know how she got all those good reviews, but I don’t think they’re relevant or should be trusted.

The apartment was lovely, with really nice decor, and it was quiet, away from the road while still in the city center. The owner was very friendly and quick to answer the phone. The building’s exterior might look a little scary because it needs renovation, but the apartment itself was perfectly fine. There’s a good bakery nearby.

My host just canceled my booking because they didn’t know how to use the Airbnb software and had overbooked the apartment. Now I have to wait several days for Airbnb to refund an excursion I paid for 3 month ago. Thanks, Perfect Stay, for giving me 2 weeks’ notice!
