Everything else was perfect, but breakfast was a letdown. There wasn’t much variety, and the vegetables looked like they’d been cut the day before. The cucumber sticks were almost brown, and the tomato pieces were dried out. Breakfast cost 12 eur.

The restaurant looked stylish and felt cozy, and the staff were polite and attentive. The prices seemed reasonable too, but the meal was still a letdown. The mashed potatoes had an unpleasant, stale taste. They seemed to have been made with old melted margarine instead of good butter, and the ground herbs and garlic made them worse. Nobody asked whether I wanted garlic in the side dish, which felt like a lack of care for a restaurant of this level. The steak was supposed to be medium-rare. One side was badly burnt and crunchy, while the other was almost well-done, so the meat's taste was ruined. The food quality didn't match the rest of the experience.

The meals were delicious and it's a good place. The hotel services could use some improvement.

I appreciated the friendly, attentive staff. They let me check in early since my room was ready, and when I asked about staying late, they kindly suggested I work in the restaurant for the extra few hours. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and even though the hotel is near the city center, it was quiet. Checkout was at noon. The hotel and furniture are new and modern, but I could already see small flaws that make me think it may wear down quickly. The room had an unexpected smell, probably linked to the bathroom problems and the carpet, which doesn't seem suited to a seaside hotel. The bathroom had issues with the grout, water escaped from the shower into the room because it wasn't sealed well, and there was nowhere to put toiletries while showering. It also hadn't been cleaned properly, as I found cotton swabs left by previous guests. I missed having a balcony. The food wasn't impressive for a four-star restaurant. The breakfast poached eggs came with too much sauce, and the veal carpaccio wasn't very tender. Late checkout cost 30% of one night's rate.
