We had a terrible time sleeping because a nearby ballroom played extremely loud music. From our room it sounded as if the neighborhood was being bombed. The building sits by a large park and lake that might be beautiful, but we couldn’t see them from our balcony. The balcony was so dirty we didn’t dare step out, and the other side of the building looks like a disturbing warehouse and is horribly ugly. The room was filthy. The toilet smelled as though it had been cleaned with dirty water, the towels reeked of cigarettes, and an empty toothbrush case was behind the WC. There was a yellow mark on the sheet, a stain that could have been blood or shit on the wall beside the bed, and what looked like mucus stuck to the wall there too. We can’t tell whether the other reviews are fake or whether things changed very quickly. Check the surroundings on Google Maps before booking.

For a budget stay, this place is amazing. The staff are kind, the AC works, and the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. There are restaurants, bars, gift shops, and even a fun park nearby. I rated it four stars because the drainage system needs work.

The TV worked, but this hotel needs to redo some of its rooms. The bathroom floor in mine was cut, the entrance door wouldn’t close even with its key, and there were no blankets on the beds. I can’t give it more than two stars.

A nice place to stay, near a lake and about a 10 minute walk from the beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It could use a little more polish, since some door knobs and doors had minor issues and there were dusty spots.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the prices were good. My only real complaint is the location if you’re coming back late: part of the alley through the park has no streetlights.
