Vila Stefan 2 Costinesti (VS2C)

I’ve stayed here for many years and the hosts have always been kind and helpful. Vila Stefan is peaceful, with cozy, comfortable rooms and good blackout curtains. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them.

I’m grateful to the caring family for welcoming me every year. The place is clean and comfortable, and the price is affordable. I really appreciate both the stay and the family who hosts me. See you next year at Vila Stefan.

We paid 600 lei/night and left feeling cheated, with a bitter taste. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place. We booked a “standard suite,” but it turned out to be two tiny, shabby train rooms for two adults and two teenagers. One looked like an old kitchen, with miserable tiles on the walls. The bathroom was cramped and moldy, with a tiny sink facing the toilet, and the lighting was dim. The fridge was far too small for four people, and the wardrobe seemed made for the house of the 7 dwarves. The linens had hotel-style stamps like in communist hotels, but they weren’t white anymore, they’d gone gray. The listing promised Wi-Fi, but it only worked in the yard and barely moved because too many people were connected. There was no phone signal or mobile data in the rooms, and the signal outside was extremely weak. It was hard to sort out problems with the service. There was also a very rusty old stove outside. I feel I paid a lot for almost nothing. This place is a scam.
