Craiova itself didn’t feel worth a trip, and our stay at the hotel was awful. There was hair from previous guests on the sheets and something like a cockroach or ant in the bathroom. With nowhere else to go, we stayed the night and left the next day. We asked for a full refund but still had to pay for the first night. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were clean, and the location is great for the Christmas market, which is really close by. There’s free underground parking. Breakfast isn’t included in the nightly price.

Room 302 was large, with an especially big bathroom, and the hotel is in a prime spot just beside the old town. But there was no hot water, so the corner hot tub was basically just furniture. The restaurant wasn’t clean, and both the soup and dessert came nearly cold.

The rooms are classic in style, quiet, very clean, and have comfortable beds. For me, this was the best choice in beautiful Craiova, right in the heart of the city and five minutes from downtown. There’s free parking for guests and a good restaurant with friendly staff. I could eat inside or outside, and the price was really good for what you get. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

You get what you need from a hotel, and the treatment is supposed to help with all kinds of illnesses. People arrive on crutches and leave without them, so from a health point of view there’s no problem. It’s Romanian style, a bit rudimentary for someone used to the Western way of doing things.
