Hotel Articus

Room 301 in this “4 star” hotel was missing a lot: no slippers, no bed cover, and not enough towels for both guests. The towels that were there smelled old. There was no luggage case and no chair apart from the one at the desk, and we had only one glass. The shower pressure was low, and one of the old incandescent bulbs suddenly burst. Wallpaper was coming away in plenty of spots in both the room and hall, enough to make you want to leave early. Some noisy keepers jammed the elevator one afternoon, and I feel sorry for the receptionist too. Two stars at most. I’ll never come back.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Breakfast was poor: even if you got there early, the eggs were cold, and the only can of juice was empty with no refill. There were no slippers in our room either. The strangest thing was an opened pack of almonds left on the table, maybe the housekeeper was hungry while getting the room ready. The staff were unfriendly and didn’t even say hi 😊.

The staff were nice, and my room was cleaned every day. I stayed for three weeks and had an excellent experience. A very good hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, and I couldn't hear the restaurant event at all, even with my window facing the terrace. I found the hotel on Booking and the price worked out well.
