Absolutely fabulous! Our group of nine, including three children, had a wonderful time at Pensiunea Izora. The elegant rooms and dining area were spotless, with plenty of room to relax and play. The food was delicious and came in generous portions, and the host made sure we got to try all the local specialties. We also took a couple of boat trips they organized and learned lots of interesting things from the guide. Everyone we met at Izora was kind, professional, and patient as they helped with our needs and made sure we were having a good time. Thank you for everything! 🩵

The fish at lunch and dinner was some of the best I’ve ever eaten, and the service was friendly. Pension Izora also offered activities every day and was very flexible. They even arranged a special sunset boat tour that isn’t part of the usual schedule. The guides were friendly and shared really interesting information on the trips. A fantastic stay if you want good food and local experiences.

The Frenchy (16 to 20/07/2025) A lovely pension in the heart of the Delta. The room and service were perfect, the staff professional, and the chef’s traditional romanian cuisine was a real pleasure. Just watch out for mosquitoes!

Izora is a wonderful spot in the Delta, with a nice place to stay, river views, and friendly people. We were there for four days and had a different fresh fish dish every day. There was ciorba, a main course, and dessert, and everything was perfect. The family has two boats, so you can book trips with them directly. I absolutely recommend it!

Right beside the Danube, this is a spectacular place to spend some time. The accommodation really feels like four stars, with a warm, familiar approach and delicious food. It takes about an hour by boat to get here through the amazing Danube delta. Once you’re there, you can take boat trips or just sit and enjoy the scenery.
