They asked where I was from, then said things that were completely unacceptable. The worst.

The cabin feels unfinished, with shoddy work, and seems to sit on a thin metal frame. If you weigh over 80 kg, the floor creaks badly and feels like you could step through it. Upstairs, you sleep on a duvet above the bathroom. I wouldn’t bring children here, since they could end up in hospital with back pain. Getting there by car is very difficult because it’s up a steep hill, and the owners live in the same yard. The worst accommodation I’ve ever seen.

We’ll happily come back. It’s peaceful, clean and rustic, with a gorgeous view, a hot tub, outdoor dining space and barbecue. The owner was really lovely too.
