Complex Turistic Le Baron

The scenery was the one good part. It’s rated four stars, but felt more like two to me. The twin bed was fine, but the couch was impossible to sleep on, so it wasn’t really a twin bed plus couch. Food was average and the people were okay. Even after booking the whole lodge, access to facilities was restricted after a certain hour. I can’t recommend it.

The mountain and Bistrița river views are breathtaking, and the place itself feels special. We found the rooms comfortable and equipped with what we needed. The staff were kind and quick, and the food was tasty. I highly recommend this complex for a short or longer stay in Bucovina.

There’s a huge menu, and the dishes all sound delicious. Prices are very reasonable, too. Check whether a dish contains anything you dislike, since some ingredients aren’t listed. Our waitress was lovely, though a little clumsy when writing down the order. The place looks nice.

Our vacation began with a reservation mix-up at Le Baron. We called, paid, and got confirmation from reception, and the payment description included the dates we wanted. But when we arrived on the first day, we found they’d booked us for the following month. A really bad experience.
