Casa Andrei Techirghiol

I go to Techirghiol for two weeks every year, but I’ve never dealt with anyone so lacking in common sense. The owner’s manner was the opposite of polite or diplomatic, and if you want a peaceful recovery, I’d avoid Casa Andrei. I booked a room for two people for 14 nights through Booking in 2025, for summer 2026. In November, the owner called to scold me for making the booking, saying, “Why did you book? Didn’t you see what the price was? How can this price be next year with this situation? Cancel the reservation!” I didn’t cancel, since I hadn’t done anything wrong. Soon after, he messaged me demanding full payment within two hours to his personal account outside the app if I wanted to keep the reservation. Today I got an email saying he had charged the card saved for payment and cancelled the booking because payment hadn’t been made. The cardholder’s confirmation was required, especially since he had accessed the card. He was angry it hadn’t been paid, despite trying to process a payment scheduled for July.
