The sea view and large bedroom with its extra-large double bed deserve five stars. The cleanliness, though, gets one. There was hair in the room, bathroom, and balcony; the two glasses were filthy; the sheet had yellow stains; and the bed frame was marked with white stains. The table hadn’t been wiped, the toilet bowl was only clean in the center, the towels were stained, and there was sand in the shower cabin. I attached photos. The reception lady, who was Turkish, was very pertinent. When we pointed out the problems, she said, “this happens and you will not find a white bed sheet as all of them are the same,” and “we do not buy everyday sheets because the clients stains them.” Her behavior wasn’t what you’d expect from hotel staff. After a long discussion and our polite request that she come see the room, she finally asked the cleaners to come back and redo the work. From what I noticed, she spoke very critically to them, and they didn’t speak the same language. Food had been left overnight and wasn’t fresh. Breakfast was stale too, and the scrambled eggs seemed to have been made from eggshells. In the end, the room got sorted out, but only after a lot of patience and effort on our part.

The location by the beach was perfect, and the balcony view was amazing. We stayed in suite 401 on the 4th floor, which was spacious and had AC. A small bathroom separated it into two areas, one with a large bed and the other with an extendable couch. The TV and AC were both on the couch side, but the AC was enough for both areas. The hotel was clean and newly renovated, though we could already see signs of water infiltration and cracked walls in our room, which was on the building’s top floor. The restaurant was a highlight, with decent food prices and helpful staff, including the cleaning crew, waiters, and receptionist. Breakfast was included as a buffet and had enough choice for us. At night, a band played Romanian and international music on the hotel terrace from around 8-9 until 11 PM. It was pretty loud. The main route to the sea involves steep stairs, which aren’t recommended for older people. Also, when the restaurant grills, mostly between 8 and 10 PM, smoke from the nearby kitchen chimney can make the balcony uncomfortable. There’s no private beach. Our sea-view suite for three adults and a 2-year-old cost 175 eur per night, including breakfast. That felt a bit expensive, although it was high season at the beginning of August. My ratings were 5 stars for location, sea-view room, and staff; 4 for cleanliness because of dust near the couch when we extended it; 4 for the restaurant due to some mixed-up orders and slow evening service when it was crowded; and 4 for price, with room cost at 3, food at 5, and drinks at 4. I’d give the stay 4.5 stars overall.

We booked in March for a stay starting June 19 and had already paid in full. Then today they messaged to say they couldn’t fit us in because of overcapacity. Terrible. I definitely wouldn’t recommend even considering this hotel.

We had a good stay here 2-3 years ago, when the hotel had just opened. Since then it’s changed management, tripled its prices, and now advertises itself as all inclusive. The service has gone downhill badly.

We chose this restaurant mostly for the view. It didn’t look like much from outside, so the great food and service were a pleasant surprise. I’ll definitely come back. Keep it up!
