We waited half an hour just to place an order or get a waiter’s attention, then another half hour for the food. There weren’t enough waiters, and the food was only okay, especially for the price. Since it’s included in the package, you’re stuck eating here. They never brought batteries for the AC remote after we asked, and the hall light bulb in our room was out too. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The two elevators were new and fast, and the treatment center was small but organized fairly well for the requirements at the time. Just don’t expect actual mud treatments there, only mud in rubber bags. You can go to Lake Sutghiol and buy mud in a bottle instead. Our room on the 6th floor had a sea view, new furniture, a comfortable bed, a new carpet, and a sparkling clean, modern bathroom. The main door was the obvious thing that hadn’t been renovated. It was very old, shifted around, and slammed whenever there was a draft in the hall. The balcony railing was rusty. Internet was slow and sometimes stopped working completely. You have to ask reception to replace towels or take out the rubbish. The food wasn’t bad, but the servings were small; you can order extra from the menu. Because of Covid, diners were split into four groups on the dining terrace, each with its own time slot. It was more than I expected.

It’s a decent stay for a good price, with good traditional Romanian food. Belona beach, which is the best, clearest, and largest beach in Eforie Nord, is only a 10-minute walk away.
