We booked an apartment and had a very pleasant stay. The sea view is lovely, with a great fish restaurant right across from it. The rooms, staff and location were all great. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were promised a wonderful room, but what we got was tiny, almost jail-cell sized. They ruined our vacation. I’m very, very disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The beach experience here left me frustrated. There’s no public beach, so tourists have to pay a fair amount each day to rent a sun lounger. The umbrellas are packed together, close enough that you end up smelling everyone around you. The terraces are low quality, and the waiters and waitresses look worn out from serving. People seem to accept whatever’s imposed just to get some sun and a small patch of sand for the whole family. I understand that businesses need to earn money, but there should still be some basic decency. In the end, people who put up with it deserve what they get. I can’t honestly recommend the Romanian beach, and I’d avoid spending money here.
