Villa Carlo

I can't say for sure about this place itself, but the city's streets are horrible. I wouldn't recommend it if you care about your car and your safety.

It was okay.

We spent two nights at Vila Carlo, and unfortunately the stay was disappointing. The room was clean, but the accommodation conditions left a lot to be desired: there was no shower cabin in the bathroom, the furniture was dated, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The owners, an elderly couple, live in the villa, and they had their personal belongings scattered across the ground floor. It made the place feel chaotic and messy. The yard was unkempt and had no organization. What they call a kitchen was really a makeshift shed made of particleboard, with old, worn, incomplete utensils. The electrical wiring looked dangerously improvised, with wires run unprofessionally and a real risk of a short circuit or even a fire. The host's behavior felt extremely intrusive. The older male owner kept bothering us without good reason, including reproaching us for leaving the air conditioning on while we were out. He made noise every morning. On the second evening, we got back late, around 23:00, to find all the doors locked, and had to knock on the windows to be let in. It was an unpleasant stay. I don't recommend this place, and I definitely won't return.

We were very happy with our family stay at Villa Carlo in Eforie Nord this year, after someone recommended it to us. The hostess and owner were welcoming, and everyone was positive. The location is at the entrance to town, with the beach a 5-7-minute walk away. Rooms are spread over two floors, each with air conditioning, its own bathroom, a refrigerator, and a closet. There's another refrigerator on the shaded terrace, where morning coffee is complimentary. Parking is available in the courtyard and beside the villa. Daily cleaning was impeccable. I highly recommend it, and we plan to stay at this hotel again next year.
