The Danube view from our room was such a lovely surprise. It was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom had everything we needed. We also found the staff incredibly welcoming, and the price felt very fair for what we got. The pontoon hammock is a peaceful little spot. Even if you’re not staying here, try the restaurant: I had the best oven-baked pancakes of my life, and I doubt I’ll find anything quite like them again. I’d happily recommend the place.

We waited a long time for our food, and what arrived was disappointing. The grilled chicken platter for two was supposed to come with cheese and mushrooms, but neither was there. We’d also ordered two extra portions of fries, yet our double portion looked about the same as the single one at the next table. There was liver mixed in with the meat, too. Poor service.

The terrace has a lovely view, and the staff were friendly, but the meal itself was only average. For a restaurant by the Danube, just two fish dishes were available, and the fish we had wasn’t cooked well. The garlic sauce didn’t seem fresh, and two of us ended up with stomach aches. Prices were average.

The employees were unprofessional and showed no respect to customers, including the oldest waiter or chef there, whoever he was. This was the worst place I’ve ever been to. It felt low budget, and I really wouldn’t recommend it, even with its 4.5-star rating.

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food has been absolutely delicious. Prices are decent, too, and the staff are nice. I can’t comment on the rooms, but I’d definitely recommend eating here.
