Casa Marina

The balconies had a good view, but this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There was mold in every bathroom, dust at least a centimeter deep in many spots, and the staff were almost nonexistent, apart from the awfully rude owner and one lackey he treated like a slave. There were no fire hydrants in sight in case of an emergency. Guest parking was an extremely steep gravel road, while his personal parking area on the other side was asphalt. Getting to the cabin meant walking down the main stairs, where you could easily break your legs if you weren’t careful. The owner was on our backs the whole time and screamed at us over almost everything. We weren’t allowed to do anything, not even step on the grass. If he didn’t want people walking on it, he should have put that on the walls. He came out over the most idiotic things, like children playing on the grass or chairs not being where he wanted them. He said he wouldn’t have rented us the cabin if he’d known we’d step on the grass. He was also extremely irritated that all the air conditioners were running, even though it was 38°C outside and 35°C inside the rooms. I had a personal bartending set, and he put it out of sight on a shelf in the back because he “didn’t want to knock it over.”
